Job Description The Whitestone Group Inc. is an industry leading security company providing services to the U.S. Government with an international presence. The company is currently seeking to hire a site supervisor for a federal contract located at (3) different sites in New York, NY. Some sites operate 24/7.

The Site Supervisor/Trainer is responsible for the overall supervision and evaluation of Protective Services' contract personnel assigned to Building 703 (AFRC), Palmdale, CA. The Site Supervisor will have the authority to act on behalf of his/her company to execute the terms of the contract in a satisfactory manner. In addition, the incumbent will train contractor SOs, SPOs, and Federal Agents to obtain and maintain certifications as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Site Supervisor/Trainer is responsible for the overall supervision and evaluation of Protective Services' contract personnel assigned to Building 703 (AFRC), Palmdale, California. The Site Supervisor will have authority to act on behalf of his/her company to execute the terms of the contract in a satisfactory manner. In addition, the incumbent will train contractor SOs, SPOs and Federal Agents to obtain and maintain certifications as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, possess a valid driver's license and able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; ability to pass a comprehensive medical examination, psychological and drug screening; ability to read and write English; able to effectively supervise personnel, capable of strategic planning, promoting process improvement, able to interpret complex statistics and information; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; and implementing change. Possess sufficient subject matter expertise to deliver services with minimal Government assistance and oversight; good communication skills with ability to clearly articulate complex concepts; certified small arms weapons instructor, trained range master, graduate from an Instructors Development Course, certified/trained Defensive Tactics Instructor and knowledgeable in law enforcement and security operations and tactics.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND TRAINING

Associates degree or higher from an accredited university or college in Criminal Justice, Industrial Security or related field or three years work experience. Trained as a small caliber firearms instructor, range master, and defensive tactics instructor. Must hold or be able to obtain Federal Arrest Authority (FAA) certification offered by an organization accredited by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) within six months of hire.
